University of Nordland is continually investing in its infrastructure to ensure that its students have the most up-to-date research and study facilities. We offer a cutting-edge new library, modern auditoriums , well-equipped laboratories and specialized teaching rooms as well as a wide variety of group and seminar rooms.
The recreational facilities include two cafeterias and the main canteen. Fitness studios are also situated close to campus. If you study at the university or even just visit us, you will soon see why so many international students from all over the world choose to come to Bodø every year.
The Library (UBiN)
The main library is located on the university campus at Mørkved just outside the city of Bodø. The library also maintains branches at Mo i Rana in Helgeland and Stokmarknes in Vesterålen.

In addition to our physical learning facilities enabling regular lectures, seminars, laboratory work, field work etc, University of Nordland provides a virtual learning environment through the Fronter system (University of Nordland’s learning management system).
The IT department provides, operates and maintains a comprehensive digital learning environment with modern equipment, networks facilities and support to faculty, staff and students. Wireless internet connections offered on campus to enable flexible learning for students.
The IT Helpdesk is located centrally in the main building by the library to offer campus technology support for detailed computer-related enquiries.
