Diploma delivery
If you have been admitted onto a specific degree programme, and have successfully completed it within the normal programme duration, your diploma will automatically be sent to you, together with a Diploma Supplement, written entirely in English.
The diploma will be sent to the address you have registered in StudentWeb within six weeks of your final grades being given. Ensure that the address is up-to-date prior to completing your studies.
If you have been an exchange student at University of Nordland, the International Office will issue the Transcript of Records(ToR) within 5 weeks after the official end of the semester.By agreement , the transcript of records will be forwarded to the relevant exchange coordinator at your home university. Except for ISEP students, where the ToR will be forwarded to ISEP central.
If you have used more than the allocated time to complete your degree, have been on student exchange or have taken subjects at another institution, you need to order your diploma from Student Services at service@uin.no.
General (Combined) Bachelor Degrees
If you have completed a general bachelor degree (a combined degree), you will have to apply to graduate. This degree requiring a total of 180 ECTS credits can be achieved in two different ways:
1) At least 80 ECTS credits of specialisation
At least 30 ECTS credits of in-depth studies within other subjects or subject fields
At least 70 ECTS credits elective subjects
2) One study programme of minimum 120 ECTS credits, combined with approved advanced
subjects or a specialisation in the same or another subject field. This should constitute a minimum of 60 ECTS.
