The European Union (EU) Office
The EU office was established in August 2008 and is financed by development funds. The main goal is to increase research activities financed through European Union research programmes at University of Nordland and in the County of Nordland in general. The EU office is a service unit providing competence in the fields of EU project development, negotiation and administration. The office also disseminates information about R&D funding opportunities in the region and stimulates the involvement of organizations within various different sectors. This is done to ensure a better ongoing dialogue, as well as more and better research collaboration between the various sectors.
