University of Nordland is governed by the University and University Colleges Act as well as rules and regulations specific to the institution.  Both the Act and the University Rules and Regulations are legally binding documents translated into English from Norwegian.  If a dispute should arise in the interpretation of these documents, the Norwegian versions will take precedence.
