University of Nordland (UiN) is Norway’s eighth and youngest university, offering a dynamic, modern learning environment for higher education and research.
UiN has 6100 enrolled students and 640 staff spread across three campuses in Nordland - the main campus in Bodø, as well as locations in Helgeland and Vesterålen. The rugged nature of Northern Norway provides a spectacular and inspiring backdrop and limitless opportunities for adventure and recreation.
UiN was ordained as a university in January 2011 and offers degrees at both undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels across the fields of Professional Studies, Social Sciences, Business and Management and Natural Sciences.
UiN engages in various exchange programmes and provides a range of opportunities for students to study in Bodø and abroad. The university's programmes are supported by well-qualified staff and state-of-the-art learning facilities. The main campus at Bodø is located a short bus ride from the city centre and has a thriving and culturally diverse student environment including an increasing population of international students.
